SWSC February Meeting

Meeting called to order by Steve at 7:49 p.m. Waived reading of January minutes. Minutes will be posted on the website on the blog.

Commodore: Steve reminded everyone about the webpage and our facebook page..

Vice Commodore: Calendar has been uploaded on the website. Continue to think about outreach ideas.

Fleet captain: Susanne unable to attend, so Steve reported that the next race is Bitter End Feb. 17th. Last weekend was our 2nd Frostbite race.

Purser: Balance $ 1677.15 as of 1/31/18. Dues to Ardythe ($50).

Raft up: Joe has 9 raft up dates. See Joe if you’d like to sign up to host- there are 4 dates open. Calendar will be on the webiste.

Sea Scouts: Gary reported that they are still recruiting, meetings Wed.@6:30. Getting ready to go to Caribell. They have a fleet of Capri 14’s. They have new Sea Scout logos for their boats. Car wash 3/24. Link for Sea Scouts site on our website.

Foghorn: Brad is continuing the call-outs.

Old Business: None

New Business: Scott shared this is the 10th year of Florida 120 and invited everyone to attend.

Membership: 3 people have contacted us through the website. Brad thanked everyone for their support after his brother’s passing.
