January SWSC Monthly Meeting

The meeting was called to order at 7:30pm. We waived the reading of the minutes for the previous meeting.

Scott Widmier gave us an update on his home. It will be March or April before they get moved in.

We welcomed a new guest named Eric.

Purser's Report - We have $250 less from last year due to the Commodore's Ball. Reminded everyone to bring their dues of $50 to the next meeting.

Gary with Sea Scouts - Sea Scouts would like to sail with us. The scouts will crew. Some of them are familiar with racing.

Mike McKay - asked for input on the Calendar of Events for 2020. As of now, we have a calendar that is similar to 2019. It was stated that we don't want a race and a raft up on the same day. Everyone needs to update their personal info for the EVITE. Also, remember to bring cash to the Race days

Renae - most of the Sailing events are on our Facebook page under the events section.You should receive notifications if you have clicked Interested, Going, or Maybe.

Tonya - Race Caption - 1st race was too windy and was called off.
