Commodore Mike was unavailable he was traveling out of town

Brad, vice commodore opened the meeting and reading of the minutes was waived.

We welcomed Derek a new member who owns a trailer boat that is small, but he is interested in sailing bigger boats.

Events upcoming are the dinner at AYC Saturday the 16th and 17 member's have RSVP'd .

Brad asked how well the receiving of the e-vite's are at the beginning of the month for all events, and then reminders as events get closer. All present liked receiving all events at the beginning of the month.

Brad also reported that the picnic area has new grills and the picnic tables have new boards. Thank you Harbor Town

The next Raft up is the 23rd. and the final race of the summer series is on the 30th.

A discussion arose about the need to increase membership and the continued possibility of creating a motor/powder boat division. There are many differences of opinion on this subject and much still needs to be explored.
