Vice Commodore Brad said he was working with the Marina to update the picnic area with new tables. He has told Kyle the Harbor Town Manager to buy the tables and SCWC would help but them together.
The attendees discussed the high 22% increase on the slip fees. This has made most pretty unhappy, since the Marina looks so terrible. Tim went to the Marina Office to express his improvement, Susanne called Ross the District Manager and told him that 22% was extreme, and that they can expect members are going to start calling about the condition of the Marina. It was said Members should do the same, we need to start calling about problems with the docks, the wood, rails, etc etc...
A reminder was mentioned about the flotilla for the Florida 120, more information will be forthcoming.
Vice Commodore Brad mentioned that he is on dock H, there is water available and power, he would switch slips for a day with anyone wanting to wash their boat.
Commodore Mike mentioned that he is in communication with the Western Carolina Sailing Club at Lake Hartwell for another weekend cruise...more information is to come. The Meeting adjourned at 20:40
